Can I use multiple cameras in the same office?
Yes. Many practices have one camera at every chair. There is no per-camera licensing fee — buy as many as you need and share them however works best for your team.
Does the camera require special lighting or conditions?
No. The built-in LED illumination handles typical operatory lighting. The Plus+ offers adjustable illumination levels for different tissues.

What makes the Plus+ different from the standard camera?
The Plus+ captures true 1080p HD at 60fps via USB 3.0, has dual capture buttons for flexible grip, and includes adjustable LED illumination. It is our flagship model for practices that want maximum image quality.
Do I need a USB 3.0 port?
Yes, for full HD video performance. The Plus+ will work on USB 2.0 but at reduced performance. Any reasonably recent workstation (2015+) has USB 3.0.

Is TeleDent HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. TeleDent is built from the ground up as a HIPAA-compliant platform for dental telehealth. We sign BAAs with covered entities and all PHI is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Do my patients need an app?
No. Patients receive a secure link via email or text and can join a session through any web browser — desktop, tablet, or phone. No downloads required.
